How would you rate SWAY Hair Care?
I made this account as this company must be held accountable not just shut down or try to block real reviews
Sway have blocked my Facebook after my honest trust pilot review they need to be held accountable
UPDATE - Sway are constantly reporting this post to get it taken down. They tried to blackmail me with removing my honest review immediately - they would replace my hair if I brought ANOTHER XL hydrate system which I brought on 23rd July (another £110) why on earth! Would you need to do this?? I’ve used the kit I brought once… Absolute rubbish capitalisation on people’s misfortune!! Sort it out sway!!

I’ve been wearing hair extensions since I was 13. So 20 years now. I have never had such an expensive disaster of hair! Ever! I had one bad experience buying at a local hair extension shop but I’d paid £100 so it wasn’t too bad. This taught me the lesson to I N V E S T !
I had viola hair in constantly for 2 years until recently my natural hair started getting longer and naturally, the extensions were breaking on the ends. I was pleased for value for money, used decent sulphate free beauty works shampoo and conditioner and never thought much else of them.
I didn’t go to a local salon doing hair fitting and 250g of hair for £600 as they only offered 6m guarantee on hair and I thought that was a poor show.
I’d seen sway on Facebook etc and the hair and feedback looked good. So again, invest why not: “treat yourself your worth it” in a hope they would pick me up and make me feel a million dollars. UH UHH!
*unimpressed face and a huff*
Within 2 weeks of fitting I had huge matting and knots which I would carefully spend hours trying to get out to avoid to Matt just getting larger and larger. Until. I was beside myself. I could no longer wear my hair down because 10 minutes later it would be all tucked around my neck like a big birds nest and frankly, I’m self employed it was embarrassing - I looked a MESS!!
I contacted sway support and then started looking into reviews. All I will say is - if you want hair that can only be used with their expensive shampoos - go for it. How hair can be tailored to only work with theirs? Well they’ve managed it. Who knows - but this was the excuse I got for this “not fit for purpose” hair. I used the same shampoo I always had which was formulated for extensions- oh no, not good enough.
It seemed every effort I tried to get my case resolved (a name beginning with a C) had another excuse or reason or obstacle to not refund or replace my hair. If you look at reviews resolved (a name beginning with a C) name comes up quite a LOT so this is the lady who deals with COMPLAINTS.
The amount of hair coming out on my hair brush was unreal. Literally grams and grams and I don’t care if it was the £5 a strand of hair hair or my own. Frankly I don’t care - I’ve never experienced this in my life!
In the end I cut my hair out (full on Britney moment) because I was so beside myself. Who knew hair had such an impact on the way you feel! Honestly. Yes, I’d brought the hydrate system and done the masks oils shampoos etc etc to try and save this hair but it was beyond it - After TWO WEEKS! Let me remind you.
(a name beginning with a C) told me to order some build up shampoo stripper (in 2 weeks I really had product build up - REALLY!) which was another £16. Unfortunately my local salon I go to walk in could not provide me with evidence of fitting so sway were not prepared to help me.
By this time my own hair was thin - I have naturally curly ringlet hair and have NEVER had this issue which looking like a ratty boy knocked my confidence even more.
So I’m left with a hole in my wallet

2 strands left on my matted extensions
£90 for the XL hydrate kit

Honestly - for the same price get viola hair I promise you won’t regret it.

If I could give a 0 I would I ordered my hair was nothing like the hair simples it came with PINK in it which you could see after fitting in the light also the hair is extremely knotty all the time l've had hair extensions for 4 years and was told to try these worse mistake I try to explain on customer service of how bad quality and colour was and nothing I wasted so much money for one day of wear so disappointing I had to go buy more hair from my original company that I use They should honour refunds when the hair is faulty

So I removed my post after receiving pink hair to be told they now won't refund me so after blackmailing me to remove my post as the hair is the worst hair I've ever had it's dry knotty and they send you the completely wrong colour they have now sent my hair back to me and took my money £400 trying to say I washed it in blue shampoo which I hadn't even if I had the hair sent out was pink and terrible condition there no excuse I will be taking this further as I think it's very unfair for other people to have to go through this and them take there money
The company in a whole should be SHUT down there robbing people and sending out the worst hair on the market AVOID WITH ALL COST
